Our RENEWAL Process

New Person Project focuses primarily on assisting adult heads-of-households because they are the family leaders, daily decision makers and role models. Helping heads-of-households assists the whole family, and thereby the whole community.

To accomplish our goals, we propose employing a unique seven (7) step proprietary RENEWAL process

1. Recruitment of trainees from all over the community, city, state and nationwide. Recruitment Coordinators recruit from veterans’ organizations, prisons, halfway houses, churches, mental health programs, substance abuse programs, handicapped programs, community awareness program, schools, colleges, civic organizations, street fairs, community centers, grant agencies and sponsors. Recruitment Coordinators handle admissions and acceptance of all trainee members. Then…

2. Entrance assessment of all member trainees: A comprehensive assessment is conducted of the trainee member’s prior educational; training and work experience assessment is conducted. High school equivalency assistance is provided as needed. A Support System “safety net” is established for each trainee, with each member trainee assigned a Career Manager to assist them throughout their training and refer them to Recruitment of trainees from all over the community, city, state and nationwide. 3. New Attitude: All trainees are afforded up to 4 weeks of a seven (7) part self-improvement program featuring, attitudinal readjustment, access to a parenting program, mentorship placement, anger management substance abuse awareness, treatment, poise, etiquette, polishing and counseling designed for self-sufficiency and self-development. Real-Talk intake counseling takes place with each trainee and their assigned Life Skills Motivational Coach, promoting self-confidence, self-sufficiency and empowerment, thereby broadening their support system. 4. Education: All member trainees receive quality undergraduate level, state of the art education and training in high demand job-area specific business, medical, legal education, construction and vocational training fields. High school equivalency training will be provided as needed. Tuition fees are paid on an income based sliding fee scale basis, or with Federal and or State Financial Aid when available. Our distinguished faculty are each specialists in their fields of instruction. Each trainee is assigned an Academic Studies Advisor further refining the trainee’s support system. A four (4) part relevant training methodology is utilized as appropriate, i.e., hands-on, on-the-job, in-class and innovative streaming video distance training utilizing local businesses sponsored job sites, community renewal, construction safety and general urban restoration and renewal construction jobs sites. Internships and externships will be offered. Trainees will be able to start their training at the beginning of 4 to 6 week course modules, allowing little delay in transitioning between recruitment, assessment, readjustment, training and graduation. 5. Work: Effective job placement is accomplished by graduate members working closely with our experienced placement personnel. Our job placement division personnel have over 20 years experience in successfully placing graduates in entry-level and advanced level employment positions with law firms, corporations, companies, businesses, banks, insurance companies and government agencies. Perfection of the graduate’s references with the Institute’s Verified Reference Bank, as well as resume and employment interview and follow-up letter assistance will be given to all graduates. Graduates will receive professional work attire from local sponsoring men’s and women’s clothing stores. Each graduate member will be assigned a Job Placement Coordinator, further solidifying their support system “safety net.” Innovative placement agency methods will be employed featuring Temp, Temp-to-Perm and permanent placement techniques. Each graduate’s Job Placement Coordinator will concentrate their job placements in local businesses and NPP sponsored job sites. Then…

6. Accountability: Mutual and collective follow-up accountability between individual graduates, their employers, NPP Staff and its Advisory Board will ensure that NPP and grant sponsor resources are properly utilized. Institutional effectiveness planning, reviews and financial auditing will be conducted and accomplished by NPP, accreditation agencies and licensed Certified Public Accountants to maintain full mutual accountability, responsible institutional management and ethical behavior. All graduates will be afforded comprehensive multi-dimensional three (3) year placement follow-up through job retention, lifetime placement assistance probation, parole cooperation, recidivism reduction, successful reintegration, drop-in research center access support services. Periodic employer/ee surveys, extensive self-evaluation and improvement, annual institutional program effectiveness reviews, will be managed by Follow-Up Accountability Coordinators over a three (3) year period, further enhancing the member’s support system. 7. Lifetime long-term multifaceted continual support services, will be afforded all graduate members and their immediate families, featuring lifetime job placement assistance, continuing graduate member education, family member education support, college credit from work experience, continued family membership, free and discounted legal assistance, dental, medical support, financial investment and savings advice, community outreach, long term employer/ee satisfaction and grantor reporting, and continued drop-in research center access. Access to lifetime family discounts in low cost education and from community partners, as well as food discounts, clothing discounts, and insurance discounts. Further, all graduate members will be assigned a Long-Term Support Advisor to help maintain their support system “safety net” for the rest of their lives.
